  • Where to go: Visit www.e-hallpass.com. Your school may provide a direct link that bypasses the need to manually type in the address.
  • Tip: Bookmark this site or keep it easily accessible for quick access throughout the school day.

Login Options

Depending on your school’s configuration, there are a few ways to log in:

Log In Portal

Google Single Sign-On (SSO):

  • Who should use this: If your school uses Google Workspace (previously G Suite) for Education, you’ll be able to sign in using your Google account.
  • How to log in:
    1. Click on the “Sign in with Google” button.
    2. Select the Google account associated with your school email address, or enter your Google credentials if prompted.
    3. Grant permission if necessary. You might need to accept some terms before continuing, especially if it’s your first time logging in.
  • Pro Tip: Stay signed into your Google account to avoid repeated login prompts throughout the day.

Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO):

Username and Password:

  • Who should use this: If your school provides you with a custom username and password for e-Hallpass, follow this method.
  • How to log in:
    1. Enter the username and password provided by your school.
    2. If this is your first time logging in, you might be required to set up or change your password.
    3. Click on “Login” to access your dashboard.
  • Tip: Save your username and password securely in a password manager if allowed.

School Code (if applicable)

  • What is a school code: Some schools require you to enter a unique code to ensure you’re connected to the right system. This code helps link your login to your school’s e-Hallpass portal.
  • How to enter it: If your school provides a code, you will be prompted to enter it after selecting your login method. This will ensure you’re connected to the appropriate school system.

Entering Your Credentials

  • Depending on whether you use Google, Microsoft, or a username/password combination, you’ll need to log in using those credentials. Here’s how:
    • Google or Microsoft SSO: Simply follow the steps for your selected Single Sign-On option, and your credentials will be auto-verified.
    • Username and Password: Input your school-provided username and password in the respective fields. Double-check for any capitalization or number errors.

Accessing Your Dashboard

  • Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your personal e-Hallpass dashboard, where several key functions are available:

Requesting a Hall Pass:

  • To request permission to leave the classroom (e.g., visit the restroom or another teacher), click on the “Request Hall Pass” button.
  • You may be asked to choose the reason for the pass and the duration.

Checking Active Passes:

  • The dashboard allows you to see any passes that are currently active, along with the time remaining.
  • Tip: Keep track of the duration to ensure you comply with your school’s time limits.

Viewing Announcements:

  • Some schools use e-Hallpass to display important announcements. You’ll find these messages in a prominent area of the dashboard.

Tips for Effective Use

  • Stay Logged In: Some schools allow students to stay logged into e-Hallpass throughout the day. This saves time and ensures you’re always ready to request a pass.
  • Mobile Access: If allowed, check if e-Hallpass can be accessed via your mobile device. Your school may provide an app or allow access through a mobile browser.
    • Tip: Using the app can help you quickly submit pass requests without returning to your computer.
  • Respect Time Limits: Schools often place time limits on passes, so be aware of how much time you have remaining.
  • Log Out at the End of the Day: For security and privacy reasons, it’s best to log out of e-Hallpass at the end of the school day, especially if you share devices with others.
